Associate Data Engineer – AI & Analytics - 2027

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. As part of our AI & Analytics practice, you'll work with data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence technologies to help clients uncover insights, improve performance, and create business value. Work side-by-side with experienced consultants, data engineers, data scientists, AI specialists, and business professionals. Currently completing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field. Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or similar technologies. Foundational understanding of databases, data structures, data processing, and analytics concepts with the ability to solve data-driven business problems. Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or data-driven decision-making concepts gained through coursework, projects, research, certifications, IBM Skills Build, or self-directed learning. Experience exploring cloud technologies, modern data platforms, or data architectures through coursework, labs, projects, hackathons, or internships.  Ability to communicate technical findings and data-driven insights to both technical and business audiences.  Demonstrated application of programming, data, or analytical skills through coursework, projects, research, internships, hackathons, or personal learning. Exposure to analytics, business intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, or cloud-based data projects. Familiarity with data visualization tools, machine learning concepts, cloud platforms, or modern analytics solutions.
