As a Data Analyst in Business Analytics, you will determine and use the appropriate analytical techniques and tools to address business problems through your understanding of current business processes and data manipulation. You will analyze large amounts of data to evaluate the benefit of a solution to the business and provide business value. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Analyze Business Problems: Apply analytical techniques and tools to address business problems, utilizing knowledge of current business processes and data manipulation, including data mining and data cleansing methods. • Share Knowledge with Peers: Share knowledge of analytics tools with peers as needed, including IBM's strategy on Big Data and Analytics. • Evaluate Business Solutions: Analyze large amounts of data to evaluate the benefit of a solution to the business and provide business value. • Apply Agile Practices: Apply agile practices and business acumen to achieve improved business outcomes and effectively interact with clients (internal or external). • Deliver Business Insights: Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis and business acumen. • Data Analysis Techniques: Exposure to analytical techniques and tools to address business problems, including data mining and data cleansing methods. • Analytics Tools Knowledge: Exposure to analytics tools, including IBM's strategy on Big Data and Analytics, to share knowledge with peers as needed. • Data Source Understanding: Understanding of key external and internal data sources to analyze large amounts of data and evaluate the benefit of a solution to the business. • Agile Practices Application: Exposure to agile practices and business acumen to achieve improved business outcomes and effectively interact with clients. • Business Value Evaluation: Experience working with data to evaluate the benefit of a solution to the business and provide business value. • Analytics Tools Familiarity: Exposure to various analytics tools, including IBM's strategy on Big Data and Analytics, to enhance data analysis capabilities. • Data Mining Techniques: Exposure to data mining methods to efficiently extract insights from large datasets. • Business Acumen Understanding: Exposure to business operations and market trends to inform data-driven decision-making.
