During your co-op, you will support Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation projects for IBM's Finance Transformation clients — gaining hands-on exposure to cloud ERP configuration, financial process design, and data migration in a collaborative consulting team. Penn State offers a specialized Oracle certification track that gives candidates a meaningful advantage in this role. Oracle Cloud Configuration: Gain exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials configuration — including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets — under the guidance of senior consultants. Stakeholder Engagement: Support client workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to document financial business processes and translate them into Oracle Cloud configurations and workflows. Data Migration & Reporting: Assist with data migration activities using Oracle tools (FBDI/HDL) and report development (OTBI, BI Publisher) to support client readiness and go- live activities. Project Exposure: Participate in full Oracle Cloud implementation lifecycle activities: system design, SIT, UAT, and cutover support. Co-op Schedule: Year-long co-op at Penn State University Park, starting May 2027. Work up to 20 hrs/week during classes and up to 40 hrs/week during academic breaks. Currently pursuing a university degree with a track-record of academic success (preferred majors: Accounting, Finance, MIS, Computer Science, or related fields). Strong interpersonal skills that enhance collaboration and relationship building, while managing dynamic workloads in an agile environment. Interest in and foundational knowledge of Oracle Cloud or ERP systems through coursework, the Penn State Oracle certification program, Oracle Academy, or self-directed learning. Readiness to adapt, take ownership of tasks, and communicate effectively through active listening in a client-facing consulting setting. Ability to work up to 20 hours per week when classes are in session (fall/spring semesters) and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks (e.g., summer). Foundational understanding of financial accounting principles and cloud ERP processes; Oracle Academy, OCI Foundations, or Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/SCM certification is a strong differentiator. Exposure to SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, or cloud basics; familiarity with Oracle data migration tools (FBDI, HDL) or reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher) is a plus.
