Build what's next - like an IBMer. About the Team In this role, you will join IBM's US Federal team to deliver secure, mission-critical technology solutions for government agencies. You'll work with federal, state, and local clients while developing specialized expertise in government compliance and security standards. This role offers unique career growth in a high-demand sector where your contributions directly impact public services and government missions. As an Federal Strategy Consultant 2027, you’ll work at the intersection of progressive strategy and transformational technology. Strategy consultants envision, co-create, implement, and update strategies for Federal clients, leading to meaningful improvements in Agency mission readiness and service to their customers. Creating and leading business case, strategic roadmaps, target operating models, feasibility assessments, and strategy refreshes, Strategy consultants work across digital reinvention, emerging technologies, citizen and employee experience, and beyond. Constantly listening for need and bringing leading best practices to bear, Strategy Consultants envision new areas and strategies for clients to reinvent their business according to a digital agenda -from idea to reality. These positions are anticipated to start in 2027. Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance while in IBM Consulting-Federal. Currently pursuing a Masters degree one of the following or related field: Business Administration / Management or Public Policy Organizational Development & Change Management Human Resources & Organizational Psychology Learning, Training & Development Business Strategy, Cyber & Intelligence Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to develop data-driven recommendations and innovative solutions. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders. Willingness and ability to travel up to 100%.
