As a Hardware Developer for Cognitive Systems and Product Engineering, you will design, develop, test, and deliver offerings for IBM Systems Cognitive POWER Systems and IBM Z using the latest technologies. This role requires coordinating development, part number release, test, qualification, and manufacturing ramp of microprocessor products used in IBM Systems. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Microprocessor Products: Coordinate development, part number release, test, qualification, and manufacturing ramp of microprocessor products used in IBM Systems, utilizing knowledge of advanced semiconductor manufacturing process and techniques to improve current CLY, yields, and profit. • Create Product Development Plans: Establish and manage product development planning for IBM's Cognitive POWER Systems and IBM Z Systems, ensuring the supply of robust IBM Systems Hardware to support next-generation artificial intelligence systems and hybrid multi-cloud systems. • Implement Logistics Strategies: Develop and implement Module PN and Sort logistics strategies to ensure efficient supply chain management. • Test and Deliver Offerings: Design, test, and deliver offerings for IBM Systems Cognitive POWER Systems and IBM Z using the latest technologies. Fluency in English – Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Educational Background – Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering.
