As a Hardware Developer specializing in Test Development and Process Engineering, you will design, develop, test, and deliver manufacturing configuration and test processes for infrastructure solutions using the latest technologies. Your work will focus on analyzing and profiling the effects of manufacturing processes on products or cores to continuously improve quality and increase yield. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Manufacturing Test Processes: Design, develop, and test manufacturing configuration and test processes for infrastructure solutions, ensuring continuous improvement of quality and yield. • Analyze and Profile Manufacturing Effects: Analyze and profile the effects of manufacturing processes on products or cores, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions. • Create Test Specifications and Tests: Create manufacturing test specifications and tests, and validate test rules and models to ensure effective test solutions. • Perform Fault and Coverage Analysis: Perform fault and coverage analysis to identify and address design or manufacturing issues, and implement specific test solutions. • Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support to manufacturing teams, preparing and validating test instructions, and performing test debug to support certification. • Exposure to Manufacturing Test Processes: Experience working with manufacturing configuration and test processes for infrastructure solutions, including design, development, and testing. • Understanding of Core Components: Familiarity with high-speed serial links, memory interfaces, SRAMs, embedded DRAMs, I/O circuits, and PLLs, and their effects on manufacturing processes. • Knowledge of Test Engineering Tools: Exposure to IBM and industry-standard design tools for test and simulation, such as Cadence. • Experience with Test Validation: Experience with test validation, including creating and validating test rules and models, and performing fault and coverage analysis. • Familiarity with Test Structures: Understanding of test structures and their application to ensure design testability requirements, including In Circuit Test and Card Functional Test. • Familiarity with Emerging Test Practices: Exposure to emerging test practices, including Guard Banding and Corner Testing, is beneficial for this role. • Knowledge of Industry Standard Tools: Familiarity with IBM and industry-standard design tools for test and simulation, such as Cadence, is advantageous. • Understanding of Test Areas: Exposure to various test areas like burn-in, fab, fulfillment, and re-config test is desirable.
