What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Duration: 6 months

In this role, you’ll:

Contribute to Customer Success Management (CSM) value driven, adoption and consumption focused initiatives. Support Managers, Solution Area Leads, Operations Lead and Customer Success Managers in daily/monthly activities and tasks, such as:

Data Entry and Management

• Assist in customer database maintenance, data cleanup, and updating customer records.
• Work with data sets to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations that support the team’s adoption and consumption strategies.
• Support process improvement initiatives with a strong focus on leveraging AI tools to increase efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance data-driven decision-making.

Administrative Support

• Help schedule and facilitate team activities such as weekly team meetings, quarterly team days, and other internal events.
• Provide general administrative support to the CSM Team as needed.

Customer Interaction and Support

• Assist with customer-facing activities and execution of value-driven campaigns.
• Assist in organizing and executing digital customer events (e.g., webinars, customer success days) when relevant.
• Contribute to SAP’s Autonomous Enterprise strategy by supporting AI adoption initiatives and helping customers understand and leverage SAP’s AI capabilities and intelligent automation opportunities within their business processes.

Special Projects

• Support various projects aimed at improving customer success processes and enhancing the overall customer experience.
• Contribute to initiatives focused on AI-driven process optimization, operational excellence, and increased team productivity.
• Leverage your own ideas and actively participate in activities related to your professional growth and self-development plan.
• Support the team in driving innovation and identifying opportunities to apply emerging technologies, particularly AI, to deliver greater value to customers and internal stakeholders.

• Active student
• Preferred field(s) of study: Business Administration, Business Informatics, International Management, Marketing
• Professional experience in organizations
• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)
• Experience with AI‑powered productivity tools is a strong plus, as well as an AI‑curious mindset
• Strong organizational, communication skills
• Natural drive to lead strategic projects and to be a point of reference for the rest of the team
• Team player attitude with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

About the team

The SAP Customer Success Management (CSM) organization aims to create an industry-leading digital customer engagement experience that provides an easy-to-use digital entry point to self-help and guidance from SAP via our Customer Success Managers (Digital) to our customers. CSM’s in the Digital Team use a digital engagement approach to provide excellent customer experience across a large portfolio of customers (80-100). The objective of this function is to optimize the customer onboarding and adoption processes, improve renewal rates, increase customer satisfaction, and champion customer success through a consistent, efficient, scalable methodology across different SAP cloud lines of business (SAP Business Suite).

About the role

The SAP Customer Success Management Team (Digital) is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join the team in Barcelona. In this role, you will support the CSM Leadership Team and entire CSM Team in working on two central and strategically important topics:

• Adoption initiatives: Ensuring the right message is delivered to the right customer at the right time
• Operational excellence: Assisting Team Managers/Regional Manager by providing data insights & tracking regional business priorities

You will have the opportunity to develop a solid foundation and understanding of how SAP’s overall CSM organization is running.
