Position Overview:
Join Siemens Mobility as a Material Handler in Alpharetta, GA, and play a vital role in keeping our manufacturing and warehouse operations running smoothly. In this hands-on role, you'll safely move, store, and track materials while supporting the flow of products from receiving through shipment. You'll use RF scanning technology and material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll help maintain high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Responsible for safely moving, organizing, storing, and tracking raw materials, equipment, and finished products within a warehouse and manufacturing plant.
- Unpacks incoming goods, records tracking and goods receipt is computer.
- Completes packaging activities of deliveries following shipping instructions, types of packaging and other instructions in the given framework.
- Uses RF scanner to stock goods and pick goods according to customer requirements ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Operates material handling equipment (pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers and similar)
- Conduct routine cycle counts, track stock levels, and report any discrepancies in deliveries or system logs.

To thrive in this role, you have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of material flow and storage locations to ensure materials
- Multitasking skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Familiarity with computers or handheld inventory software. SAP experience is a plus.
Physical Demands/Facility Information
- Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lift and move at most 35 pounds.
