About this role
See your impact in motion | Discover careers at our Data Centers
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Centers power the technology
people rely on every day, from streaming services and mobile apps to
cloud computing, generative AI, and online shopping. They’re the
foundation that enables hospitals, financial institutions, governments,
and businesses around the world to deliver the services people depend
on, when they need them.
In these roles, you’ll work on the real-world infrastructure that keeps
technology running securely, reliably, and at global scale. You’ll solve
problems, collaborate across teams, and use advanced tools to support
systems that millions of people interact with every day.
This is where your work connects to something bigger, moving beyond
theory into impact you can see, feel, and be part of, all while helping
build the future of Amazon Web Services.

- Learn and contribute to Amazon's approach to hiring and developing top talent
- Support people operations and help preserve Amazon's peculiar culture in the way we attract, hire, and develop talented people

- Deliver a continuously improving employee experience by thinking broadly and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Gain insight into managerial strategy and concepts, understanding everything that goes on behind the scenes to ensure teams have what they need to develop and retain a high-powered workforce
A day in the life
No two days are the same as a Working Student at Amazon. Depending on your team, you could be diving into your project work — whether that involves analyzing compensation data, supporting an onboarding improvement initiative, or collaborating with the talent acquisition team on hiring strategies. You will participate in cross-functional meetings with HR colleagues, including international HR teams, working through process improvements that impact teams worldwide. You will also have the opportunity to network with other interns and attend learning sessions with senior HR leaders who share insights on Amazon's peculiar culture and leadership principles.
Throughout, you will balance project-focused deep dives with broad exposure to HR operations, from training and development programs to employee experience initiatives. Every day brings hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly support Amazon's ability to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent.
Note: You must have the right to work in the country of employment by the start date.
