JOB DETAILS:
Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada
Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time 37.5 hrs a week, either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
Duration:
- 12 Months: May 03, 2027 to April 21, 2028
- 16 Months: May 03, 2027 to August 18, 2028
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
We are seeking highly motivated Analog & Mixed-Signal Engineering Interns/Co-ops to
join our engineering teams. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers
on the development, analysis, verification, testing, and automation of advanced analog
and mixed-signal technologies used in industry-leading semiconductor products. In this
role -
- Support the design, analysis, verification, testing, and validation of analog and
mixed-signal semiconductor technologies. - Use industry-standard EDA/CAD tools to analyze, optimize, and verify circuit and
layout designs. - Develop and enhance software scripts, automation tools, and workflows using
programming and scripting languages to improve engineering productivity and
design quality. - Collect, organize, analyze, and present technical data, test results, and
engineering findings. - Investigate technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with
engineers to develop solutions. - Work closely with cross-functional and global engineering teams throughout the
product development lifecycle
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field at a Canadian university. - Strong interest or exposure with analog, mixed-signal, semiconductor, or
integrated circuit design. - Fundamental understanding of electronics, including transistors, resistors,
capacitors, logic gates, and circuit analysis concepts. - Familiarity or exposure or understanding of
- Semiconductor devices, microelectronics, or VLSI design.
- Transistor-level circuit analysis and layout.
- Programming or scripting in Python, C, C++, Perl, Tcl, SKILL, Shell
scripting, or similar languages. - Laboratory testing and characterization using oscilloscopes, network
analyzers, spectrum analyzers, function generators, or related equipment. - Software development, automation, and data analysis
