JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Santa Clara, CA, USA
- Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term

- Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027
- Quarter Students: June 21, 2027 - September 10, 2027

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
We are seeking highly motivated AI Engineering intern/co-op to join our team. In this role, you will –
- Support the development of AI-assisted workflows for engineering and compute optimization tasks.
- Assist in building and evaluating systems that generate, test, benchmark, and measure candidate improvements.
- Contribute to tools that connect AI models with compilers, profilers, benchmarking tools, and engineering workflows.
- Support evaluation and validation efforts focused on correctness, performance, and reliability.
- Assist with analyzing experimental results and identifying opportunities to improve AI models and optimization approaches.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers on AI-assisted software and hardware optimization projects.
- Support experiment tracking, benchmarking, and reproducibility across AI engineering projects.
- Document technical work, experimental results, and key learnings.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Programming experience in Python.
- Coursework or hands-on experience in artificial intelligence, or computer systems.
- Familiarity with PyTorch or similar machine learning frameworks.
- Interest in AI agents, optimization, LLMs, or AI-assisted software development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
