WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Use principles of control theory, applied physics, and applied mathematics to design GNC solutions for Anduril’s autonomous systems
- Design, build, and test GNC control laws in VMS (vehicle management system) software
- Build vehicle simulation models to inform design trades, assess system capabilities, and establish system margins
- Contribute to the development of new capabilities to enhance existing products or bring capabilities and technologies to market
- Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality
- Work on real, meaningful projects and learn from experienced professionals along the way
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be pursuing tertiary education in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one term.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in summer 2026.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in digital control systems, linear and nonlinear dynamics systems
- Experience in state estimation, e.g. Kalman filter, extended Kalman filter
- Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink
- A desire to work on GNC solutions that have real-world impact
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
