At Apple, we look for people who are the best at what they do — and, just as importantly, how they do it. The Managing Director Office in Greater China is seeking a highly motivated and technically sharp intern to support internal AI automation, workflow optimization, and project operations.

You will work with colleagues to understand real needs, turn ideas into practical tools, and improve them through feedback. This is an opportunity to combine technical skills with creativity and collaboration, taking solutions from an initial idea into everyday use. As an AI & Project Operations Intern, you will help develop internal AI capabilities and support the day-to-day execution of departmental initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related technical discipline.
• Available for a full-time internship for a minimum of six months.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Ability to write and debug code in Python or another relevant programming language to build practical tools.
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications or AI workflows through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Takes initiative, works through obstacles, and follows through on commitments to deliver results.
• Collaborates effectively, listens carefully, and explains technical ideas clearly to colleagues with different backgrounds.
• Learns quickly, seeks feedback, and applies new knowledge to unfamiliar problems.
• Brings structure to evolving requirements and manages competing priorities.
• Experience building web interfaces, dashboards, API integrations, or workflow automation.
• Familiarity with prompt design and evaluation or local model deployment using tools such as Ollama or MLX.
• Experience with database integration and data modeling, including proficiency in SQL and familiarity with vector databases for AI/LLM applications.
• Experience supporting event coordination or on-site operations.
