Role overview
About this role
Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their best work. Just be ready to dream big.
The people here at Apple don’t just build products — they build the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that encourages the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.
Imaging what you could do here. At Apple, creative ideas have a way of becoming wonderful products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there’s no telling what you could accomplish.
Be a part of the Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) program management team! The HWTE team is the critical link ensuring Apple's products meet the highest standards of quality and performance before reaching our customers. In this role, you will bring operational rigor, process optimization, and data-driven insights to our global test engineering initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, operations, and external equipment partners, you will identify opportunities to streamline equipment delivery and help build the data foundation our organization relies on to make faster, smarter decisions.
As an Engineering Program Manager Intern on the Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) team, you will support our engineering subject matter experts (SMEs) and program leads in improving design package quality, process efficiency, and operational visibility across our test equipment ecosystem. Working alongside hardware, software, and operations teams, you will help evaluate and standardize engineering documentation (such as CAD packages, 2D drawings, and specifications), investigate workflow and handoff bottlenecks between Apple and equipment suppliers, and assist in building data models and AI-assisted tools that enable smoother equipment bring-up across our global supplier network.
