Noise & Vibration Internship

The China noise & vibration intern is directly working on design and implementation of test methodologies to eliminate unwanted acoustic noise. Communication with design as well as cross-functional teams in other countries will be critical. The candidate will work on a specific project on noise & vibration reduction for industry-leading consumer electronic devices.

Minimum Qualifications

• MS/PHD or equivalent, preferably last year student specializing in Acoustics / Mechanics / EE
• Major in acoustic or vibration with electronics relevant experience
• Fluent in English & Mandarin and technical concepts in English & Mandarin
• Strong theoretical and experimental background in acoustics & vibration, or magnetic interaction.
• Solid testing and data analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with acoustic testing equipment (chambers, microphones, etc)
• Comfortable with MATLAB, Python, and ability to learn new scripting skills
• Ability to effectively contribute in fast-paced, constantly changing, multitasking environment
• Flexibility in problem solving approaches
