This role is for an internship in Summer 2027. The Internship is expected to start on Monday, May 24th with an end date of Friday, August 13th. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively, driving work that addresses a strategic business challenge facing our team: helping to turn our vast collection of content into an easily understandable system that supports our visitors’ key needs. In addition to your project work, the internship includes educational, networking, and social activities. At the end of program, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your final outcomes to a large audience of leaders, practitioners, and peers across the organization. This is a highly visible intern program with leadership exposure and mentorship throughout the summer. The Brand & Content Strategy team articulates the unique value that IBM brings to customers and applies deep knowledge of our target audiences to define and map the best ways to engage them — in the right place, at the right time, with value provided at every interaction. We are looking for a Brand and Content Strategist to help build brand relevance, consideration and demand through brand and content strategies that engage, inspire and progress clients, partners, and prospects to choose IBM. In this role, you may: Collaborate with the team to support development of integrated brand-to-demand messaging and content plans that deliver the right content, at the right time, to the right audiences and drive the right outcomes Apply deep curiosity to build an understanding of the market, targetaudiencesand IBM’s offerings to help create the most compelling messaging and content Analyze performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations to build the IBM brand from awareness to demand and develop optimization plans Work closely with internal agency partners on development and execution of specific elements of the content strategy, write creative and tactical briefs to prompt work, collaborate on asset creation, and help inform teams to do their best creative work for IBM This role is based in New York City. We work in a hybrid environment. This position will be required to come into the office at least three days per week. This role will be posted until September 25. We will review all applications. Currently enrolled in an accredited University Available for an internship in Summer 2027 Rising senior for the 2027-2028 school year Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills Basic knowledge of brand and content strategy, content development, or similar Basic understanding of multi-channel marketing along the customer journey, including but not limited to social, digital,mediaand content Analytical mindset toidentifyopportunities, test potential solutions and synthesize insights into recommendations for messaging,brandand content strategy A strategic, consultative, data-driven mindset Open-minded and constant learner: consistently expanding knowledge to gain new skills, apply new methodologies and developexpertise Active listener, able to effectively absorb and apply professional knowledge to tasks quickly Responsible team playerdemonstratingownership and accountability Knowledge of media planning, distribution, measurement, optimization and syndication
