Role Summary The Application Developer - Java is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications using Java technologies. The role works closely with business analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices. Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into software solutions. Develop REST/SOAP APIs and backend services. Create and maintain database integrations using SQL and ORM frameworks. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues. Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments. Support application deployments, releases, and production support activities. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews. Maintain technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
