In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. As an Associate at IBM, you'll work with clients to help solve real-world business challenges through technology, innovation, and consulting. As an Associate Application Developer at IBM, you'll help organizations transform how they serve customers, improve operations, and accelerate digital innovation through modern applications and cloud technologies. During your first year, you'll build technical expertise, earn certifications, contribute to client projects, strengthen your consulting and communication skills, and establish a strong foundation for long-term career growth at IBM. Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies, along with foundational knowledge of SQL. Understanding of software development fundamentals, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and enterprise applications. Exposure to application development, data, or cloud-related projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal learning. Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools. Curiosity about enterprise technologies, Artificial Intelligence, cloud solutions, and digital transformation. You don't need to be an expert to get started.
