In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. As an Associate, at IBM, you'll work with clients to help solve real-world business challenges through technology, innovation, and consulting. Build what's next, like an IBMer As an Associate Finance Specialist in IBM's Finance Transformation practice, you'll help organizations optimize financial operations, improve business performance, and drive transformation through technology, data, and innovation. As part of our Finance Transformation practice, you'll work on initiatives that modernize finance processes, enhance reporting and decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and help clients adapt to an evolving digital landscape. No two projects are exactly alike—you could support healthcare, financial services, public sector, retail, industrial, manufacturing, or other Fortune 500 clients. Work side-by-side with experienced consultants, business professionals, and technology specialists to solve real-world challenges. Through mentorship, career coaching, certifications, AI-enabled consulting, and hands-on client experiences, you'll build the skills needed to grow into a future consulting leader. Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Foundational understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, business operations, or performance management concepts. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems using a structured and analytical approach. Exposure to finance, business analysis, process improvement, data analysis, or transformation initiatives through coursework, projects, internships, research, or student organizations. Understanding of how technology, automation, Artificial Intelligence, and data can help organizations improve financial and business outcomes. Interest in consulting, finance transformation, enterprise technologies, and business process optimization.
