As an associate Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional project teams in delivering custom development solutions or managing the Maintenance and Support of applications. You will be accountable for ensuring that the project is completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting the business requirements and contractual obligations. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Project Plans: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements to ensure effective resource allocation and project plan execution. • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with IBM, client employees, and 3rd-party vendors to deliver project objectives and meet business requirements. • Establish Communication Plans: Implement effective communication plans to deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders and ensure successful project outcomes. • Ensure Project Delivery: Oversee project activities to ensure they are completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline. • Apply Project Methodologies: Utilize project management methodologies and tools to drive project success. • Project Management Methodologies: Exposure to project management methodologies and tools to establish effective communication plans and ensure successful project outcomes. • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IBM, client employees, and 3rd-party vendors to deliver project objectives and meet business requirements. • Project Planning and Execution: Exposure to managing project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements to ensure effective resource allocation and project plan execution. • Stakeholder Communication: Experience with implementing effective communication plans to deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders. • Project Delivery Management: Exposure to overseeing project activities to ensure they are completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline. • Project Management Tools: Exposure to project management tools to support effective project planning, execution, and monitoring. • Agile Methodologies: Experience working with agile methodologies to drive project success and adapt to changing requirements. • IT Service Management: Exposure to IT service management principles to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
