As a Cyber Operations Support Engineer specializing in Collections Analysis, you will execute collections using well-defined strategies and within the priorities set by the collection management process. You will maintain a keen awareness of the evolving threat landscape by developing and implementing cyber indicators. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Execute Collections Analysis: Perform collections using predefined strategies and priorities set by the collection management process, ensuring efficient and effective data gathering. • Develop Cyber Indicators: Implement and maintain cyber indicators to stay aware of the evolving threat landscape, enabling proactive measures against potential threats. • Analyze and Share Threat Assessments: Collect, process, analyze, and disseminate cyber threat/warning assessments to keep the organization informed and prepared for potential cyber threats. • Maintain Threat Awareness: Continuously monitor and assess the threat landscape to identify emerging threats and provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders. *This person will be required to come into the Fort Meade, MD office 5 days a week • Exposure to Collections Analysis: Familiarity with executing collections using predefined strategies and priorities set by the collection management process, ensuring efficient and effective data gathering. • Experience working with Cyber Indicators: Knowledge of developing and implementing cyber indicators to stay aware of the evolving threat landscape, enabling proactive measures against potential threats. • Understanding of Threat Assessment Methodologies: Exposure to collecting, processing, analyzing, and disseminating cyber threat/warning assessments to inform stakeholders and support organizational preparedness. • Familiarity with Threat Landscape Monitoring: Basic understanding of continuously monitoring and assessing the threat landscape to identify emerging threats and provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders. • Experience with Data Analysis Tools: Exposure to utilizing tools and technologies for data analysis, processing, and dissemination in a threat intelligence context. • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI is required • Advanced Data Analysis Tools: Exposure to utilizing specialized tools and technologies for data analysis, processing, and dissemination in a threat intelligence context, enhancing the ability to efficiently gather and share threat assessments. • Emerging Threat Identification: Familiarity with identifying emerging threats through continuous monitoring and assessment of the threat landscape, providing actionable intelligence to stakeholders. • Cyber Indicator Development: Experience working with advanced cyber indicator development and implementation, enabling proactive measures against potential threats and staying ahead of the evolving threat landscape.
