As an Associate Application Developer specializing in Java and Web Technologies, you will design, develop, and support applications based on the Java/JEE technology stack. You will utilize Java frameworks and languages such as Ruby or Groovy for web development, focusing on enterprise application development. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design and Develop Applications: Design, develop, and support applications based on the Java/JEE technology stack, utilizing Java frameworks and languages such as Ruby or Groovy for web development. • Implement Transaction Management: Implement transaction management, manage Java objects, and integrate enterprise systems as part of enterprise application development. • Apply Development Methodologies: Apply expertise in dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, functional programming, test-driven development, data access frameworks, transaction management frameworks, and batch processing. • Utilize DevOps Methodologies: Utilize DevOps methodologies and tools to ensure efficient application development and deployment. • Integrate Enterprise Systems: Integrate enterprise systems as part of enterprise application development, ensuring seamless functionality and data exchange. College diploma/Bachelor Degree Willingness to be assigned to IBM or Client locations (Monday-Friday, Saturdays as needed) Willingness to work on a cyclical shifting schedule.
