About this role
The IBM Integration team is a small, specialized group that is part of the Strategy, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, and Ventures team. We are responsible for leading and managing the integration of various teams, processes, and technologies across IBM’s Operational teams. This includes the end to end processes for the CIO, Q2C, and Procurement teams, and others across the shared services organizations, spanning all of Finance & Operations (F&O). This role requires a strong understanding of F&O's business goals, future priorities, and anticipated areas of growth. As an Integration Strategy Consultant, you will manage integration of acquired companies across corporate processes, and drive critical transformation of IBM by developing and applying knowledge of industry-specific and cross-industry competitive strategies. You will analyze problems, formulate hypotheses, develop insights, and deliver recommendations to drive integration, growth and transformation, working with IBM Global process Owners to investigate new market opportunities and business models. You will bring outside-in perspectives that may challenge beliefs through data-driven analysis, working closely with internal clients across different IBM businesses to co-create strategies for change. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement integration strategies and plans to ensure seamless collaboration between F&O teams and external partners. Manage the integration of new technologies, processes, and systems to support F&O's transformation initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address integration challenges and opportunities. Provide guidance and support to team members during the integration process, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations. Monitor and report on integration progress, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for process enhancements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in integration and transformation, and incorporate relevant insights into F&O's integration strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Economics Business, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in integration management, preferably within a large organization or a consulting firm. Strong understanding of F&O's business goals, future priorities, and anticipated areas of growth. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Familiarity with relevant technologies, processes, and systems used in F&O's transformation initiatives. • Experience working as a consultant, delivering significant transformation • A master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or Accounting or a bachelor’s degree and professional experience • Proven experience across a range of technology (MS Office, Statistical Software, discounted cash flow toolsets, Saas technologies for financial analysis and project skills (Monday, clari, Salesforce, Box, Teams, Slack, etc) • Strong knowledge of IBM Finance & Operation teams • Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. • Business case development and execution • Strong leadership and relationship building skills; and ability to gain consensus with key stakeholders. • Strong project leadership & presentation skills
