About this role
IBM Quantum is an industry-first initiative to build universal quantum computers for business, engineering, and science. This effort includes advancing the entire quantum computing technology stack while growing a global ecosystem of industry, academic, and government partners. Within IBM Quantum, the Quantum Innovation Centers (QIC) team works with strategic partners to advance quantum computing technology adoption through quantum research, education and ecosystem development. As a QIC Intern, you will contribute to projects that support partner success and help scale programs across the IBM Quantum ecosystem. Support the execution of initiatives across the Quantum Innovation Centers portfolio. Conduct research and analysis to inform business decisions and program development. Develop content, materials, and recommendations to support team objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project deliverables. Present internship findings, outcomes, and recommendations to key stakeholder. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree, preferably in STEM, business, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Demonstrated ability to manage tasks independently and deliver against deadlines. Interest in emerging technologies and innovation. Exposure to quantum computing, quantum technologies, or related research areas. Experience conducting research, data analysis, or project-based work. Familiarity with presentation development, business communication, or stakeholder-facing deliverables. Experience working collaboratively in academic, research, or professional team environments. Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and a growth mindset.
