As an AI Software Engineering Graduate Intern, you will contribute to the development and optimization of cutting-edge AI software solutions across domains such as computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning. You'll assist in creating scalable and efficient AI systems, tuning models for enhanced performance and accuracy, and exploring applied research opportunities to advance Intel's AI technologies. This internship provides hands-on experience to build your skills and knowledge while contributing meaningfully to Intel's business goals. Business group This role is part of Intel's Sales and Marketing Group (SMG), which drives customer connections and solutions to accelerate Intel's success in key markets. SMG focuses on understanding and addressing customer challenges while delivering advanced technologies that enable innovation. The team fosters collaboration, growth, and innovation, aligning with Intel's mission of shaping the future of technology. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and optimize AI software solutions, including algorithms, frameworks, and architectures. - Assist in implementing and tuning deep learning models to improve performance and accuracy. - Explore techniques such as model compression, including quantization and pruning, to enhance system efficiency. - Collaborate with internal product teams and external partners to create robust AI solutions for system-level deployment. - Conduct applied research to refine AI methodologies and integrate them with hardware solutions. - Document technical findings and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within Intel.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Proficiency in Python or C++ for AI software development and debugging. - Solid understanding of deep learning fundamentals, including large language models (LLMs). - Familiarity with model compression techniques such as quantization and pruning. - Knowledge of AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Preferred Qualifications - Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation to tackle technical challenges. - Passion for technological innovation and practical engineering applications. - Experience with fine-tuning AI models, inference optimization, or agent development.
