EDA Software Engineer Intern

About the Job:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative student who would like to join our dynamic team in Pathwave Software Solutions Group Center of Excellence (PSS COE). You will work on developing some components of our enterprise Electronic Design Automation (EDA) product offering.  This will entail development work in Python or C++.

About the Team:

You will be working in a team with a product owner and developer to design and implement the feature.  You will also clarify the requirements and enhancements with the product management team.

• Understand the principles of electronic design and how to apply them in the software
• Translate design requirements into high level pre-layout designs
• Define details such as substrates, vias, layers, and transmission line properties
• Run simulations and analyse the results and suggest corrective actions
• Use agents and APIs to define designs

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor/Master Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a software related discipline, from an accredited college or university
• Interest and experience in electronic design, IC design, simulation and signal integrity challenges; prior experience of working with ADS will be an advantage
• Experience and interest in software development.
• Able to work independently and creatively
