R&D Software Engineer, Intern

• Design, develop, document, and maintain software for class-leading network visibility platforms
• Collaborate with engineers from a multi-disciplinary development team
• Serving a role in feature development and issue resolution for Network Packet Broker platforms
• Working to design and prototype innovative new features on existing HW platforms and HW under development
• Developing high quality feature software independently and in teams
• Participating in design and code reviews

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
• Relevant coursework in a CS, or CE program
• Full-stack web application development. Experience with Java and client side scripting language.e.g JavaScript, ExtJS etc.
• REST APIs and system integration
• Experience with AI and LLM
• SQL and relational databases
• Git and modern software development practices
• Personal, academic, open-source, or internship projects that demonstrate initiative and technical curiosity
• Knowledge of Ethernet and networking technologies is a plus.
• Strong software debugging skills
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
