About the Programme
The Microsoft South Africa BBBEE Internship Programme offers talented graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional and technical skills, and receive mentorship while working on meaningful projects. As part of Microsoft's commitment to skills development, transformation, and inclusive economic growth, interns are empowered to learn, grow, and make an impact while building the foundation for their future careers.
Responsibilities:
- Learn about assigned customers, including their business priorities, challenges, and technology strategies.
- Support account planning activities and contribute to customer engagement strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including solution engineers, account technology strategists, customer success teams, and partners to support customer outcomes.
- Assist in identifying customer needs and opportunities for Microsoft solutions.
- Help develop presentations, account plans, and customer-facing materials.
- Support customer meetings, business reviews, and engagement activities.
- Monitor account activities and contribute insights that support customer growth and success.
- Build relationships with customer stakeholders while developing an understanding of Microsoft's solutions and services portfolio.
Qualifications
Programme Eligibility:
- Applicants must be South African citizens and meet the eligibility requirements of the Microsoft South Africa BBBEE Internship Programme.
- Currently pursuing (final year with no more than 6 months remaining) or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the last 6 months in Business, Commerce, Economics, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for technology and customer engagement.
