About: Tomoh Apprenticeship is Microsoft's program for Emiritization, aiming to accelerate Emiratis employability and create market impact through Early-in-Profession recruitment, and skilling programs.
 

Program overview:  Microsoft Tomoh Apprenticeship is a paid six-month training program that offers globally recognized technical and professional certifications & skills, and on-the-job training to include mentoring, coaching, job shadowing and real-life scenario assignments.
 

Program Details: The 6 months program is divided into two key phases (Phase 1 - Onboarding & Skilling, Phase 2 - On The Job Training)
Phase one: Onboarding & Skilling Bootcamp (1 month)

• Onboarding and introduction to Microsoft’s mission, culture, strategy & structure.
• Technical skilling to obtain globally recognized Microsoft technical certifications.
• Professional and soft skilling courses including project management, change management, effective interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation, and time management.
   

Phase two: On-the-job training (5 months)

• Joining as an Solution Area Specialist for on-the-job shadowing and training.
• Mentorship and coaching sessions.
• Supporting Microsoft teams in digital transformation projects.
• Advanced technology trainings including AI, Machine Learning & Cloud Computing.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Emirati National holding UAE Family Book.
• Fluency in English. 
• You must be legally authorised to work in UAE to be eligible for this role (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
• Currently pursuing/ completed a Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for technology and customer obsessed
• Displays stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners, and customers
• Proficient communication, analytical and presentation skills
• Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g. Azure)
