What you'll build

You will become part of a cross functional scrum team working with agile software engineering methods.  You will be supported by a personal mentor and receive internal training tailored to your assignments.

Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to test development and test automation
• Contribute to the implementation of product features, including AI-powered capabilities
• Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing product features

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences or related fields 
• Computer skills / Programming languages: Java
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, web development, AI-assisted development tools, and modern software engineering practices
• Language skills: Fluent in German (written and spoken); strong communication skills in English
• Soft skills: Team-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently; Good communication skills
• Working from St. Ingbert office is required

As development unit in the Consumer Industries organization, we are focusing to innovate, adapt and enhance functionalities in several Retail processes. This means we can both maintain our market position with our existing solutions and open up new business areas by expanding our solution portfolio by incubating new cloud applications.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
