Role overview
About this role
As an IBM Consulting FutureNow Center Intern, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to help solve real business and technology challenges for clients around the world. You'll gain hands-on experience, build in-demand technical and professional skills, and contribute to meaningful projects while learning in a collaborative, team-based environment. This internship is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience that prepares students for a potential full-time career with IBM Consulting upon graduation. As a Package Specialist Intern at IBM, you'll gain hands-on experience helping organizations operate, support, and continuously improve enterprise applications that enable critical workforce and business processes. As part of our Workday Enterprise Application Operations practice, you'll gain exposure to supporting enterprise platforms such as Workday through application support, configuration, testing, reporting, managed services, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. No two projects are exactly alike—you could support clients across healthcare, financial services, public sector, retail, industrial, manufacturing, and more. During your internship, you may assist with application configuration, business process workflows, reporting and data analysis, testing, issue resolution, documentation, and continuous improvement activities. You'll work with experienced team members to understand business requirements and help translate HR and workforce needs into effective technology-enabled solutions. You'll learn how Workday supports critical business processes across human resources, workforce management, talent management, finance, and other enterprise operations. To give yourself the best opportunity for success, we advise applying only to roles that align with your skills and experience, rather than applying broadly across all entry-level positions. You’ll receive a status update email for each application, so be sure to check your IBM Careers account regularly — it’s the best way to get a centralized view of which roles you have active applications against.
