We’re looking for a curious, analytical, and people‑oriented professional to join IBM’s Salesforce practice in a Consulting and Go‑To‑Market (GTM) Associate role. This position is ideal for someone interested in business analysis, sales operations, consulting, and technology enablement, with strong potential to grow a long-term career in Salesforce and digital transformation. Consulting and business transformation professional with experience leading cross-functional initiatives, translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions, and driving strategic Salesforce-enabled programs. Skilled in business analysis, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, process optimization, and executive communications, with a strong foundation in Salesforce CRM and supporting go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, competitive research, and data-driven decision making. What You’ll Do Support consulting engagements through research, analysis, and the preparation of client-facing and internal deliverables Conduct industry, account, and competitive research to support consulting projects, business recommendations, and strategic decision making Contribute to problem-solving discussions and help translate business needs into structured consulting outputs and actionable recommendations Help prepare client-facing materials, including user stories, process flows, documentation, solution overviews, and business requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, delivery, and technical groups to understand end-to-end Salesforce solution delivery Develop presentations, reports, demos, and Salesforce-related assets to support client engagements and business development initiatives Learn how Salesforce technology enables digital transformation and build foundational skills in CRM, business analysis, consulting methodologies, and strategy Support GTM activities and sales pursuits through research, content development, and readiness activities Learn how AI agents and automation can improve customer and user experiences on the Salesforce platform What We’re Looking For Curiosity & analytical thinking — you enjoy understanding business problems and asking thoughtful questions Strong organization — able to manage multiple priorities across consulting and GTM workstreams Interest in business + technology — passion for how platforms like Salesforce enable enterprise transformation People-first mindset — enjoys collaboration and supporting both internal stakeholders and clients Clear communicator — able to synthesize information, present findings, and articulate ideas effectively Growth mindset — eager to learn, adapt, and develop a career in consulting, business analysis, or Salesforce Flexibility in commuting — able to travel to IBM and client sites for in-person collaboration as needed Why This Role? We are recruiting for both start dates and encourage eligible candidates to apply. Successful applicants must have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution prior to their employment start date. Please note that MBA and PhD graduates are not eligible for this program. Skills & Experience Recently graduated from Business, Commerce, Management, Technology, or related programs 0-2 years of experience (internships, co-ops, or early career experience in consulting, business analysis, sales, or operations is an asset) Strong written and verbal communication skills shown through academic or professional work Comfortable working with data, research, and digital tools (Salesforce/CRM exposure is a bonus but not required) Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for problem solving and technology A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view Able to translate business requirements into clear, structured technical solutions and actionable deliverables Demonstrate leadership experience and ability to adapt, with willingness to readily take ownership of tasks and problems Have initiative to actively seek new knowledge, feedback and improve skills
