We work on hands-on engagements with cutting-edge IBM Z and LinuxONE technology, providing enablement, guidance, and technical demonstrations to help organizations realize the full potential of IBM Z. As an Entry Level Technical Enablement Specialist intern, you will gain exposure to enterprise-class systems, modern automation, and hybrid cloud environments. We are looking for a variety of skills, you don't have to check all the boxes. This role may involve any of the following responsibilities:
- Contribute to IBM Z and LinuxONE infrastructure projects.
- Infrastructure design, automation, deployment, and readiness activities supporting IBM Z and LinuxONE technology, networking, and storage environments.
- Designing and building partner-facing and client-ready assets, including: value proposition, presentations, demos, workshops, and/or labs in a variety of industry, IBM Z and LinuxONE HW and SW focus areas.
- Provide scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-up support for Z Ecosystem program workstreams.
- Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Flexible and self-starter to adapt to dynamic work environment
- Foundational understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, or databases
- Curiosity and willingness to learn enterprise technology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Familiarity with IBM Z and LinuxONE technologies
- System programming experience
- Foundational automation experience
- Foundational containerization skills
- Foundational AI knowledge
