The Role and Impact
As a Module Engineering PhD Intern, you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing processes within a specific module in semiconductor manufacturing. Your day-to-day activities will include supporting equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and qualification, while exploring process optimization opportunities to ensure production targets are met. This hands-on internship will provide you with invaluable experience and help you build skills in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and refining manufacturing processes for semiconductor modules.
Support equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and qualification activities to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize process control methodologies and enhance production efficiency.
Work on projects that address real-world manufacturing challenges, applying your technical knowledge and research skills.
Participate in learning opportunities and build skills to explore future career paths in semiconductor manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Actively pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated skills through academic research, coursework, or hands-on training in areas such as semiconductor processing, manufacturing equipment, or advanced materials.
Familiarity with process control techniques and methodologies.
Technical proficiency in analyzing data and identifying process optimization opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience using and maintaining scientific equipment, research experience, experimental and data analysis expertise.
Semiconductor device research, development or characterization experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $120,898.00-120,902.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
