About the Programme
The Microsoft South Africa BBBEE Internship Programme offers talented graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional and technical skills, and receive mentorship while working on meaningful projects. As part of Microsoft's commitment to skills development, transformation, and inclusive economic growth, interns are empowered to learn, grow, and make an impact while building the foundation for their future careers.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of integrated marketing plans, campaigns, digital activities, and events aligned with business priorities and approved frameworks.
- Collaborate with Sales, Go-To-Market, Finance, Communications, Business Operations, marketing teams, and centers of excellence to coordinate delivery and stakeholder alignment.
- Use customer segmentation, targeting tools, market insights, and AI-enabled technologies to improve customer engagement, demand generation, pipeline impact, and execution efficiency.
- Support marketing operations by coordinating budgets, agencies, workflows, standardized tools, privacy, accessibility, compliance, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor marketing and program performance through reports and dashboards, translate data into actionable insights, and communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Research business needs and contribute to program strategies, project plans, communications, proposals, risk mitigation, and cross-functional delivery.
- Track timelines, milestones, resources, financials, risks, feedback, and success measures to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities to optimize, scale, or improve programs.
Qualifications
Programme Eligibility:
- Applicants must be South African citizens and meet the eligibility requirements of the Microsoft South Africa BBBEE Internship Programme.
- Currently pursuing (final year with no more than 6 months remaining) or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the last 6 months in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for technology and customer engagement.
