The Intern will play a key supporting role within the Retail & Hard Discount sales team, helping drive operational excellence, customer support, reporting, and project execution. The position offers broad exposure to customer management, category insights, promotional planning, and commercial decision-making while working closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Sales Team with day-to-day customer and business follow-up activities. Support the coordination and follow-up of promotional activities with internal stakeholders and customers. Prepare and maintain customer performance reports, sales dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses. Support assortment reviews and maintain customer-specific product databases and files. Monitor open action items and facilitate follow-up with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Customer Service teams. Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and ways of working within the team. Is well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Has excellent communication and collaboration skills. Takes initiative and proactively looks for ways to support the team. Pays attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind. Is eager to learn, curious about customers and market dynamics, and willing to take ownership of tasks. Enjoys working in a cross-functional environment with different stakeholders. Is fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a big plus.
